The Isle of Harris
The Isle of Harris has much to offer with its spectacular landscape. Amazing beaches and machair on the West side, rocky craggy bays on the east coast and the North Harris Hills in the north.
Harris is great for wildlife and birdwatching. We have golden eagles on the hill range behind Sorrel Cottage.
Walking, cycling, golf, fishing, surfing, kayaking, kiting…
The North Harris Trust runs the Harris Mountain festival in September.
A visit to the Clo Mor Harris Tweed Exhibition in Drinishader is a must.
Visit the weavers in their sheds.
